Independent Living
Independent living communities primarily focus on meeting the social needs of their residents. Independent living is ideal for seniors who are wanting to scale back on day-to-day household responsibilities such as home and lawn maintenance, cooking, cleaning and transportation. Independent living options range from simple and comfortable to lavish and luxurious. Some independent living communities offer supportive services while others do not.
Assisted Living
Assisted Living offers supportive services for seniors who are needing more assistance with managing the activities of daily living. Some seniors may need minimal help with managing medications while others may need significantly more help with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
